About OGBJJ

Ocean Grown Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a private Jiu Jitsu academy that is for members or by appointment only! We are a part of the Rey Diogo/Carlson Gracie Team. We do not let anyone just show up and train. We are a family orientated gym and most students come recommended from friends or family! We are NOT a competition based school however we will support anyone who wants to compete and we always recommend to try competition but we do not push or emphasize it as much as other schools.  We are passionate about Jiu Jitsu, we work hard and take care of each other. We do not accept just anybody into our gym, you have to email us and then there is an interview process before you are invited to come train, our students safety is our #1 priority! Please email us and set up your appointment soon!

He also holds a Black Belt in Sabaku Jutsu and a Senior Instructor Certificate from Impact Personal Safety, where he taught self-defense for many years. His classes are friendly, but focused and never lose sight of the fact that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a fighting art.
